Do you feel as though none of the main parties really speak for you anymore? Perhaps you still care deeply about your community, about fairness, responsibility, growth, standards, and public life, but feel increasingly disconnected from the old political labels you are expected to choose between. Too often, people are pushed into voting for the least disappointing option, settling for more of the same, or stepping back from politics altogether because nothing on offer feels like home.

Do you feel politically homeless?

That matters, because when people no longer feel represented, democracy becomes weaker, not stronger. Communities are not renewed by reluctant votes, hollow loyalty, or a sense that you simply have to pick the best of a bad bunch. They are renewed when people feel they can vote positively for something honest, grounded, and real.

That is one of the reasons I am standing. An Independent vote gives you the chance to back honesty, common sense, and real local representation without pretending to belong to a party that no longer feels true to you. It allows you to back a person rather than a machine, a record rather than a logo, and a local voice rather than a party script.

If party politics no longer feels like home, that does not mean your voice no longer matters. It may simply mean the old structures no longer deserve your automatic loyalty. For those who are tired of choosing between the lesser of two evils, there should be another way, and I believe there is. There is a political home for those who want practical change over political theatre, common sense over ideology, and real local representation over party games.
